Today the campaign announced its event entitled:
EUROPEAN TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT “CYNICAL DIVERSITY MANAGEMENT AT WORK” DAY! -Thursday March 18th 2010
The day is a component of the UNITED NETWORK'S European-wide Action Week Against Racism: - 13-21 March 2010.
T he day is an opportunity for "workers & other stakeholders," all over Europe to ventilate and highlight issues about discrimination in the work place and to tell the truth about it and be heard. The day is designed to raise the ambient consciousness about cynical diversity management, what it is and how it works.
” Effective diversity management that DELIVERS equality of opportunity to its stakeholders is a lie in most organisations. The over-represented group is entrenched and going nowhere soon, the diversity management is a web of deception.
It is largely a corrupt system of tokenism, under-funding, high-profile exploitation of small measures, exclusion of genuine intent, talking shops, suppressing measures, intimidation, denial and lots of money for the over-represented group and their peers. Under-represented groups need not apply.” Says Floyd Campbell from the campaign.
The day encourages workers and other stakeholders of organisations companies and institutions to do the following ACTIONS:
¤ Take one hour during any part of the day to discuss in groups of any size, any job function, any job grade, one discussion point on cynical diversity management from the campaign posters available at the campaign website.
¤ Write up your “Truths” and present to relevant senior management, anonymously if you need too.
¤ Submit to WIKI-LEAKS any documentation you may have access to that demonstrates Cynical Diversity Management structures, systems and or professional practice in action in your organisation, so it can be challenged in the mass media and put right.
Floyd Campbell points out that:
”Efforts have been made through affirmative action, equal opportunities and diversity management over the years particularly in the western industrialised countries to DELIVER equality of opportunities to employees and the people they serve and sell to.
Our institutions have simply failed them.
Why?
Because the people have been hoodwinked!
Cynical Diversity Management is inevitable under white supremacy and “the people” have largely been unconscious of this simple fact.
“White Supremacy” REQUIRES the discrimination dynamic in order to keep people down, so it MAINTAINS discriminatory structures and systems via Cynical Diversity Management techniques.
It select experts and consulting organisations that will make them look like they are operating “effective diversity management standards” when in fact they are not!
We want the day and further events to mobilise workers and other stakeholders on an ongoing basis to submit documentary evidence of discriminatory practice in their organisations anonymously to WIKI LEAKS so they may be challenged in the media and the discrimination put right, we want our growing base of supporters to actively and continuously resist Cynical Diversity Management.
We want ordinary workers, ordinary people to join the campaign and TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT IT ! with reference to their situations.
People can help themselves, print & distribute A7 Mini Posters for example, cause discussion and informed action in their localities! “
Everyday more and more people are coming forth, they want this.
White Supremacy & Cynical Diversity Management won't do it for them, its a robot system of continued oppression at work status quo ! "
